PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

DATA INSIGHTS AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGER - PEEK VISION

July 2024 - Present

Since moving into this role, I have focused on strengthening the link between data, product, and programme delivery. I contributed to user research and project management for dashboard development. I've enhanced quarterly reporting through trend analysis and experimentation tracking, and co-led Monitoring & Evaluation certification. Alongside this, I have supported global research and advocacy efforts, including representing Peek in the WHO SPECS network. I am most proud of embedding a more insight-driven culture where data is actively used to inform learning and programme improvement.

ENGAGEMENT LEAD - PEEK VISION

January 2021 - July 2024

My time in this role was formative in developing my expertise in impact measurement and data storytelling within global eye health programmes. I designed and implemented core systems including the impact tracker and a strategy milestones tracker, enabling more consistent reporting across countries. I co-led the standardisation of programme reporting, co-developed key metrics such as “Connected to Care,". I contributed to fundraising through donor reporting and funding applications. Alongside producing annual reviews and impact reports, I built data story and testimonial repositories. I also led on setting up a robust content management system and developed field content in multiple countries both in person and through contractors. I co-led multiple knowledge sharing sessions between Peek users. I was most proud of creating systems and narratives that brought data to life and strengthened how Peek communicates its impact.

RESEARCH AND MARKETING ASSISTANT (THE UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW - SCHOOL OF LAW)

January 2019 - January 2024

The project is focused on working uncovering the hidden voices behind the female pioneers of the legal profession in Scotland and those of the present day, as well as provoking wider discussion of inequalities within the legal profession and how to combat this. My role was multi-faceted and involved research, design, gathering voices from women across the legal sector and beyond, production of animation, videos and other collateral, and events with keynote speakers such as Lady Hale. It also included developing the brand for the project and full design of the project's website: https://womeninlawproject.org/

MARKETING AND EVENTS OFFICER (ST JOHN EYE HOSPITAL - LONDON, UK AND JERUSALEM, THE WEST BANK AND THE GAZA STRIP)

January 2016 - November 2019

My time at St John was formative in developing a strong interest in public health, in particular eye health, and the disparities in treatment. I was responsible for press, the website, social media, production of newsletters and Annual Reports, case study production both in person (for which I won the IAPB Photography Award in 2018) and via staff in Palestine/local freelancers. I was also responsible for organising several events across London including a gala dinner at Guildhall and reception at Buckingham Palace. I was most proud of creating and championing a uniform communications strategy as well as building strong relationships with my many colleagues across the Palestine and throughout the wider Order of St John, which allowed me to fully showcase the charity's incredible impact to its many stakeholders.
